Everyone’s a superhero at The A List! Get a pre-opening look at Thought to Pop, featuring the comic art of Jim Lee, Carlos D'Anda, Richard Friend, JJ Kirby, Michael Lopez, Joel Gomez, Oliver Nome and Eduardo Nuñez of WildStorm Productions. Dress as your favorite superhero or comic book character and enjoy the electro-acoustic sylings of Hellhound, club music spun by Cathy "DJ OMG" de la Cruz, hands-on activities, plus complimentary cocktails and Karl Strauss beer.

About the A List
The A List is the Athenaeum’s youngest, hippest
membership group. If you’re Gen X or Y, and love contemporary
art and music – or want to get some more culture in your life
but don’t know where to start – this is the place for
you. Check out our exhibitions, hang out with artists, take in some
great live music, and meet some new people, all in a fun, unique
atmosphere. You won’t believe you’re having so much
fun in a library!
