Kick off Cinco de Mayo early as the A List presents Fiesta del A-Lista on Thursday, May 2, at 7 pm. The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library will be enlivened with the vivid colors, movable sculpture, and intricate jewelry of the 2012 San Diego Art Prize Recipients' vibrant art. Red Pony Clock, a 13-piece avant-garde mariachi-influenced band, will sculpt the sound in the music room, providing rich, intricate music with a Mexican tint. Gather with friends and other art and music lovers and lick, suck, and drink the tequila at the bar chased by an ice-cold cerveza. Spin and buy vintage vinyl in the Athenaeum's mini-vinyl shop and dance and talk the night away at the Athenaeum A List.

Each A List event features an art exhibition, live music by a local band, a communal art project to inspire your creativity, raffle prizes, and much more!
