Join Jean for a week of exploring drawing through light, shape, and color. Through a series of exercises, students will strengthen drawing skills while discovering new ways to interpret the world onto the page.

We will cover working with white media on black paper, focusing on light, negative space, abstract shapes, and the relationships between forms. From there, we will introduce wild color, pushing beyond preconceived notions of how color should be used. We will draw from a live model on the last day of class.

Come ready to look closely, loosen up, trust your instincts, and rediscover the joy of drawing.

All levels are welcome.
