Athenaeum Art Center's 10th Anniversary Celebration

Since opening in 2016, the Athenaeum Art Center has grown into a creative hub for Logan Heights, with studios, a gallery, classes, workshops, exhibitions, performances, and a fully equipped print shop. For a decade, it has been a place to learn, make, experiment, and connect.

Come celebrate the people, artwork, and creative energy that have shaped the Art Center—and help us kick off its next chapter.

Print Fair, 11am–4pm (Free/RSVP Required) 

Browse and shop work by more than 20 local printmakers, explore the Art Center’s studios, and enjoy music from a Barrio Logan-based DJ crew.

The day will also feature:

• Live Demos — Watch our print shop in action: letterpress, screen-printing and more

• Hands-on activities

• Local vendors

• Giveaways and more

Anniversary Party & Secret Sale, 5:30–8:30pm ($50) 

Keep the celebration going with an evening party and the Athenaeum Art Center’s Secret Sale, featuring more than 20 works donated by artists in support of the Art Center’s programs.

The artwork will be displayed without artist names or attribution, each with a set minimum bid. Guests will bid based solely on the work itself. At the end of the evening, the artists’ identities will be revealed.

The Secret Sale will feature artists ranging from emerging local talent to internationally known names—offering a chance to take home original artwork while supporting the Athenaeum Art Center.

The evening will include food and drinks from local restaurant Alchemy—Choose Thy Poison, with additional drinks available for purchase, plus music throughout the night.

Evening tickets are $50 and include food and one drink ticket.
