In this workshop you will have a wonderful and rare opportunity to draw two models together! We will have a 20-minute warm up and then the models will take one long pose. Proportion and sighting will be emphasized, and students will have individual attention from the instructor. You may bring any material (drawing or painting) that you would like to use—excluding oil paints. Butcher paper and charcoal will be provided. The instructor will also bring a variety of drawing materials to try and play with.

We will take a ½ hour break in the middle of class. All skill levels are welcome!

Materials:

  • 2 or more large sheets of charcoal or pastel paper

  • 1 kneaded eraser

  • If you choose to paint in any water based medium, you should bring 2 or more large sheets of watercolor paper or a canvas—along with brushes, water cup and rags or paper towels

  • A sense of humor
