Jeff Yeomans
Thursday & Friday, 10 AM–1 PM
November 12 & 13
(2 Days, 6 total hours of instruction)
AAC Art Studio
Using found objects, everyday materials, personal treasures, and unexpected odds and ends, students will develop three-dimensional artwork while exploring the concepts of design. Jeff arrived at assemblage from a painting background and will be exploring the concepts of composition that crossover. Participants are encouraged to experiment as they develop a unique assemblage of their own.
Materials: Bring a board or two approximately 18”x 18” or smaller to use as a sturdy backing.
A shoebox filled with various random objects, flat images, 3-D objects, things from nature, old labels, keepsakes, the more unique the better.
Our intention is to create an assemblage or object that is personal, reflective and unique to you, by “mining” the possessions hidden over time in lost places, junk drawers, and forgotten boxes.
Immediately after you register, look for a confirmation email and receipt. In the week preceding the class start date, you will receive another email with more details.
