Jade Carson

NEW INSTRUCTOR! Jade Carson is a printmaker from the Mississippi Delta, now based in San Diego, CA. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Kent State University (2025) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mississippi University for Women (2022). She has worked as a 2D intern at Penland School of Craft and attended craft programs nationwide, including Peters Valley School of Craft and Arrowmont. Her work examines the erosion of spaces in the Mississippi Delta and the complex guilt of leaving those places in search of opportunity.
