Discover how music, breath, and gesture can turn movement into visual expression. In this four-week class, students will work on one large abstract painting, using body movement, rhythm, and intuitive mark making to build layers of color, line, and texture. Each session introduces movement prompts, music, and intuitive painting exercises to inspire expressive painting while gradually developing a dynamic final composition.

This is best for the intermediate painter (not for beginners).

Materials: Acrylic paints (a variety of viscosities is ideal, unless you bring mediums to alter), assortment of brushes (must have larger size or house painting brushes), assorted tools (color shapers, scrapers, palette knives, sponges, found items to make organic marks), couple sheets of large watercolor paper, large canvas (30" x 40", 36" x 36" or larger), palette paper

Max students: 10
