Outdoor studies are the key to painting successful landscapes in the studio. Plein Air painting is an excellent way to observe color, light, and aerial perspective. This class will focus on composition and color mixing with a limited palette. Each day the class will begin with a demo and conclude with a group critique. The fields around Garden Road Park are beautiful in the spring, with many large sycamores, long views, and open sky.
