Create multiple prints using the letterpress and/or the etching press with pressure printing. This quick and easy monoprint technique combines collage, stencils, and color layering. A variety of textures and patterns can be printed with paper and other plate materials such as cut shapes, cut/torn paper, lace, fabric, tape, or leaves. This press technique is similar to low-relief collagraph or stencil printing, but the image is transferred via the pressure to the press sheet.
Suitable for beginners and experienced printers.
MATERIALS: The materials fee includes a kit containing all class materials.
