2. Art Camp for Ages 10 and Up

$180/200 + $10 materials fee

June 24th
Children will develop awareness of the values of color, learn to make colors lighter and darker, and create a painting that uses different values and creates movement. 

June 25th
Children will become aware of space in artwork and the difference between positive and negative space, they will learn how areas work together or work separately in a piece of artwork. They will create an abstract drawing in oil pastel. 

June 26th
Children will develop an awareness of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. They will mix primary and secondary colors to create tertiary colors. Children will create a self-portrait using primary, secondary and tertiary colors.
