Jurors for the exhibition were Lynda Forsha, Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, and Robert Pincus, Art Critic, San Diego Union Tribune. Sixteen artists were selected to show one piece each: Edward Abrams, Larry Ashton, De­nise Cline, Terry Craig, Peter Geise (1st place), Liz Gorsich, Milton Heger, Lynne Hendrick (2nd place), Richard Keely (3rd place), Santjes Oomen, M. Kathleen Peterson, Michael Portera, K. Tomney, Robert Wallace, Holly Weston, and Andrea Zuill.
