An exhibition of bookwork and installations from the last twelve years by bookmaker Mary Ellen Long. The artist, formerly a San Diego County resident who moved to Durango, Colorado in the early 1980s, exhibited works ranging from limited-edition books, maps with text, installations, and documented sculptural interventions, many of which reflect her respect for and communion with the place where she resides. Other pieces included in the exhibition, with titles such as “Dreams of Mother,” were more autobiographical in nature.
