Books are Bridges: Swedish Children’s Book Authors and Illustrators

This exhibition, presented in collaboration with the Swedish Consulate, offered an engaging look at Swedish culture through the eyes of authors and illustrators of children’s books. The exhibition gallery was filled with brightly colored panels, which told the history of Swedish children’s literature through text and images. On the lunettes were a variety of Swedish children’s books, on loan from Warwick’s Bookstore and available for visitors to read. The display case in the music room was filled with rare, often antique Swedish children’s literature from around the world and in various languages.
