Connections-California Fibers and the Celtic Felters

This international juried exhibition displayed the works of two groups: nine members of the Celtic Felters and thirteen members of California Fibers representing a melding of fine art and traditional crafts. The juror was Ann Batchelder, editor of FiberArts magazine. Connections was the fourth international exchange exhibition and the 28th annual juried exhibition sponsored by California Fibers, a San Diego-based juried group of 25 Southern California artists dedicated to excellence in fiber art media. The Celtic Felters is a group of Glasgow artists specializing in contemporary artistic uses of the ancient art of felting.
