The Athenaeum hosted an exhibition and silent auction of 32 works (mostly from her early abstract period) of late San Diego surrealist Ethel Greene, as well as works by other artists from her personal collection. Artists whose works were exhibited were: Charles Allen, Sheila Anson, Richard Bell, John Clarke, Dorothy Coleman, John Dawson, John DeMarco, Dan Dickey, Faiya Fredman, Audrey Green, Ethel Greene, Mildred Hall, Hatten, Nancy Hicks, Elizabeth King, Phillip Kirkland, Lahoge, Robert Matheny, Laurel McCauley, Cliff McReynolds, Richard Allen Morris, P.X. Nidoef, Sheets, Lois Stecker, Sean Sullivan, Reed Thompson, Rossie Wade, Walter Wojtyla, and several pieces by unknown artists.
