6TH BIENNIAL JURIED ARTISTS’ BOOKS EXHIBITION

Thirty-eight artists, from all over the country, were selected for the 2007 show. First place was awarded to Judith Christensen for her body of work, Words and Echo, Murmur, Erode, Spine; Second place was awarded to Viviana Lombrozo for Tales We Weave, and Third place was awarded to Marilyn Janas for Kaleidoscope Color. The first Athenaeum Purchase Award was given to Sally Hagy-Boyer for her work, Story Problems.

 

Other artists in the show were Irene Abraham, Tania Baban, Joyce Corum, Jane Czech, Mary Lynn Dominguez, Nicole Eiland, Melissa Elliott, Risa Gettler, Doria Goocher, Jacqueline Jacobs, Christine Lee, Mary Ellen Long, Jim Machacek, Linda McCulloch, Susan Merritt, Kathy Miller, Barbara Milman, Melanie Mowinski, Tara O’Brien, Gabrielle Overfield Gillenwater, Yvonne Perez-Collins, Gina Pisello, Al Rodriguez, Josie Rodriguez, Sara Rosenbluth, Sibyl Rubottom, Joan Schulze, Genie Shenk, Katherine Venturelli, Frances Watson, Susann Wilbur, Jenny Yoshida and Pamela Zwehl-Burke.
