A Piece of the Moon World

Local artist Wendell Kling designed an exhibition specifically for the Athenaeum’s Rotunda Gallery. He created an alien world based on a dream he had. The exhibition featured sound -activated lightboxes, projected animation. He also installed specially made colored windows with paper cut-outs of the alien world. During the opening reception, he played a mix of vinyl music, backwards.
