One of Mexico’s most important poets, Alberto Blanco is also a well-known visual artist. The exhibition is a retrospective of forty years of Blanco’s artist’s books and includes, as well, collages, sculpture, and posters. The books contain poems, watercolors, graphics, and gouaches. Blanco has served as visiting professor at San Diego State University (1998–1999), the University of San Diego (2007), and the University of California, San Diego (2009, 2010).
