Over the Moon: San Diego Book Arts Exhibition

This exhibition, a collaborative project by 40 artist participants from San Diego Book Arts’, is presented by the Athenaeum in honor of the organization’s 20th anniversary. SDBA’s artist-in-residence, Diane Gage, has written a series of haiku poems entitled The Moon Haiku, the inspiration for the works presented here, which includes each artist’s original artwork on paper as well as individual, hand-bound art books based on high-quality reproductions of the originals. The exhibition showcases SDBA as a whole while also highlighting the unique contributions of each artist.
