Lisa Kanemoto presents 22 duotone photographic images surveying crucial episodes in her life, from childhood to adulthood. These vast and varied experiences engendered in her feelings ranging from dread to love, from inadequacy to personal satisfaction, and included surviving Nazism in Germany, marriage, a child’s mental illness, depression, alcohol dependency, breast cancer, and the emergence of an artistic vocation and the means to express all.
