Artist Sibyl Rubottom presented a new series of 2- and 3D textile work in the Athenaeum’s Rotunda Gallery. Using the technique of printmaking on linen with sashiko (a traditional Japanese method of stitching fabric to make it stronger, warmer, and more hard-wearing), Rubottom collages abstract and text-based imagery.
