Vibrant artists the vivid focus of Grace Bell's 'Music Scene Hear' photo exhibit

You may not be able to literally hear Grace Bell’s photographs in her new exhibit, “Music Scene Hear.” But you can feel the music playing in many of her heartfelt concert shots and portraits of legends and young lions from the worlds of jazz, blues, rock and classical.
“I hope people can hear the music, because what I aim for is the moment when sound and picture come together,” said Bell, whose new show at La Jolla’s Athenaeum Music & Arts Library features 150 of her photos.
