'Acoustic Evenings' at Athenaeum back with armless guitarist Mark Goffeney

Mark Goffeney made headlines last year when the armless San Diego guitarist performed at Viejas Arena, Madison Square Garden and other major venues with top Mexican rock band Maná. On Friday, he’ll be at the far more intimate Athenaeum Music & Arts Library as part of the annual “Acoustic Evenings at the Athenaeum” series. Goffeney will be joined by two gifted local troubadours — Gabriela Aparicio, who fuses folk and Latin music, and the country-rocking Cory Wilkins. The series, ably curated by singer-songwriter Jefferson Jay, continues May 26 with Jay, MohaviSoul and Trails & Rails.
