soundON Festival: This informal festival, put on by San Diego New Music and the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, focuses on modern music with three days of chamber music concerts and open rehearsals. 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, 1008 Wall St., La Jolla. $22 and $27 for individual concerts; $60 and $75 for the series.
