Local artist and art instructor Carol Faith Goren exhibited twelve colorful, playful watercolor renderings of a variety of footwear. Goren earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and graduated with an M.F.A. from the California Institute of the Arts. She has taught with the San Diego Community College District, at Mira Costa College, and at the Athenaeum School of the Arts. The artist describes her works as “a colorful and calm refuge from the world. They are small windows through which you can escape for a few minutes or more.”
