Internationally recognized artist and muralist Robert Salas directed a group of elementary school students in the design and painting of a mural directly on the main gallery wall. Salas selected a theme that was global in nature — with depictions of human, animal, and plant life surrounding a central universe — to underscore the multicultural nature of the project and the artists whom collaborated on it.
