Box assemblages by the artist, a local San Diegan best known for her temporary site-specific outdoor works, were on view in the Athenaeum’s Main Gallery. Oatman combined her works with selected books from the library’s collection. The Athenaeum exhibition was the first time the box constructions have been shown in their entirety.
