Juror Kitty Maryatt, Director of the Scripps College Press, chose 32 books by 21 artists. Exhibiting artists were: Judith Christensen (first place for Kimonos), Mary Crest, Moya Devine (with Lena Bartula, Marilyn Mitchell and Anna Stoa), Christie Dunning, Max Elliott, Nancy Gordon, CJ Grossman, Sally Hagy-Boyer (third place for Depth Perception), Gloria Helfgott (2nd place for Assortments), Candy Kuhl, Anthony Lukens, Jone Small Manoogian, Susan Merritt (honorable mention for From Darkie to Darlie: Culture Shock), Kathryn Miller (honorable mention for Type), Barbara Milman, Lisa Olson, Sara Rosenbluth, Sibyl Rubottom, Peter and Donna Thomas, Mary Jube Thompson and Katherine Venturelli.
