Annual Student Exhibition at the Athenaeum Art Center in Logan Heights

Students of the Athenaeum School of the Arts

Reception: Saturday, June 13, 2020, 6–8 PM

We are excited to be back with the annual student exhibition at the beginning of June this year. See details regarding dates and procedures for showing your work below and make sure to plan to attend the reception at the Athenaeum Art Center (AAC) in Logan Heights which will take place on Saturday, June 13, corresponding with the June Barrio Art Crawl.

The date to drop off work at the AAC is Monday, June 1, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Please contact us if this drop-off date is a hardship for you.

When you drop off your work, be sure to bring a completed and signed Loan Agreement form with you.

The maximum size for artwork is 48" on the longest side, and artwork must have hanging wire or we will not be able to hang your work. For help with installing wire, check out this video: https://youtu.be/mdU0B8ov2Z0 (don’t worry about backing paper or bumpers).

Due to space considerations, only one artwork per student will be accepted, regardless of how many classes a student is enrolled in.

The exhibition will be on view for friends, family, and the public during AAC gallery hours, 10 AM–4 PM, on Tuesday, June 9, and Thursday, June 11. Additional gallery hours will be announced.

After the reception, from 6 to 8 PM, on Saturday, June 13, students may take their artwork home with them, or artwork may be picked up on Monday, June 15, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Join us for this exciting occasion and see the studio transformed into a gallery!

The Athenaeum holds several student and teacher exhibition events each year.
