I loved having no commute time and not having to pack up and transport my art supplies both ways. The technology took a little bit of getting used to, but no-one needs to be intimidated by it. I think the instructors may have to work a bit harder at ensuring and encouraging the broad participation and transmission of enthusiasm among students, since we can’t wander around and engage with each other. But with an attentive instructor, much of that great interaction is still possible on Zoom. I hope the Athenaeum will keep the on-line option going after we’re ‘back to normal’.”
